CRAZY, CRAZY WEEK!!!
There was non-stop fun from Monday to Friday and I was probably at the peak of my highness throughout the camp. Had a lot of fun playing a fool, jumping around, shouting, screaming, cheering, eating, chatting with OG 32, AQUILO! However, I also noticed that I made a big hole in my wallet this week. Especially after that meal last night at Pepper Lunch, AMK Hub. That meal cost me $11.50!! But it was rather filling and tasty. That doesn't cover up the fact that I digged a deep whole through my wallet.
I had initially thought that the expensive (and not satisfying) meal at Central - which cost $5.80 - was going to be the last time this week I would be splurging on a meal, guess I was wrong.
Heartache! But oh well, I guess I just have to get use to it. Boy, am I glad that I have $50 extra allowance to spare each month from my own bank savings. Hopefully I won't use up everything too fast though. Gonna watch how I spend my money more carefully now.
Beach clean-up @ ecp was fufiling. Suprisingly, I learnt quite a bit from the experience. I gained wisdom! However, it sort of marked the start of me returning to the serious self too. I couldn't get my adrenaline running after that day.
First lecture of the year was kinda simple. I was very glad when the lecturer showed the video on the reaction between magnesium strip and dry ice. Because... MDM YAW SHOWED US BEFORE! I was like pretty proud of myself, because I had watch the video before and had no difficulty understanding what the whole thing was about. Before we even attend any H2 Math lecture, we were already given the lecture notes. Well, I suppose that's how it is like in JC. Wait a moment, I meant "bought the lecture notes". Apparently, we have to pay for our notes. Reasonable since we don't buy textbooks, so the notes are like our lecture notes. Not forgetting I will need to pick up a new habit, called "File my notes/work every night after school".
Filling never fails to turn me off. I remembered I tried to consistently file my worksheets back in Sec 3 and 4, which didn't turn out well because I still couldn't master the habit. Hopefully, I would be much better at it this time round. I've gotta be more hardworking! Some how, I am in the mood to study, at least as of now. I don't know how long this feeling is gonna last, but hopefully once the momentum picks up, I would be in the mood to study throughout this two years.
Some of my OG members called me a mugger as I was doing Math homework while everyone was chatting and slacking in AJ Nexus before heading for dinner. I was surprised myself. As in seriously, I do wonder since when was Clarence Liu ever so hardworking. *Smiles sheepishly*
