In this past 16 years...
1 person said that I would make quite a decent boyfriend;
1 person praised me for being handsome;
1 person told me upfront that I sing well;
1 person told me that I should go try out for Campus Superstar;
1 person t
old me that he enjoyed listening to me sing;
1 person told me that he loves my self-esteem;
1 person told me that my ever-strong confidence even receiving all the criticism is commendable;
1 person told me that I should continue writing poems and that I am rather good at it;
1 person
made me believe that contributing to a friendship would reap results and that friendships would stand against the storms;
the very same person defeated that trust and belief;
1 person made me fell in love with the feeling of adrenaline coursing through my blood;
1 person made me hate myself for being foolish and reckless once;
1 person made me believe that dreams really do come true;
1 person made me believe that platonic friendships do stand firm and strong;
1 person made me want to joined choir;
1 person made me
LOVE choir;
1 person made me enjoy life in a choir;
1 person gave me the courage to sing and perform in public;
1 person made me sit in a room full of girls;
the very same person made me have the courage to sit in a room full of girls;
1 person made me realise that I should never take friendships for granted;
and
MANY others said or did differently about the above...
and the list goes on about many other "
1 person".
SOME wish to watch me rise,
SOME always watch my back and are always behind me in whatever I do,
SOME are worried if I get too tired to climb, while
OTHERS can't wait to see me fall and never pick up again...
PS: and
1 person makes me want to commit
MURDER.
