HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Happy Birthday! Had a lot of fun, kinda enjoyed myself -- but it just wasn't my birthday...

Well, truth is I did enjoy my day and to some extent it is kind of true that Clara probably wasn't as excited about her birthday as much as me or any of the juniors. I guess it's coz it's her. She has the ability to unite everyone's interests and be their centre of attraction. Some people just simply has it all I guess. I do admire her for that and truth be told, I'm jealous of her.
When I was at the rooftop garden of Vivo, when I was alone hiding from her so as to give her a surprise, when I was thinking to myself having some silent moments when she was busy talking to the juniors, when I was walking around Peninsula, while at Raffles City Shopping Centre or when I was loitering around at Plaza Singapura... I was wondering, who's gonna celebrate my birthday with me next year, which is like at most 2 months away? Would I get to be in her shoes?? Would I be able to have people planning a surprise party for me, to have a fantastic lunch and dinner with friends, home baked cupcakes, etc, etc.
And I realised that I'll probably want to get out of the school compound on that day immediately after school so that the class won't keep me back for a birthday bash or whatnots. Dare not imagine what they'll do to me. Hopefully nothing, I mean, I'm not Joseph (the cool dude), not Jeremy (the geeky ass) nor Lucas (the all-I'm-so-wonderful-and-handsome-SJI-dude). Then again, I'm Clarence the outstanding-for-the-wrong-reason-class-leader. What happened during the Sentosa trip really gave me a forewarning, like seriously.
If not for the fact I'll need to clean up after they have done all the crazy stuffs they can do to me, and run the risk of being screamed at by my mother, perhaps I would have enjoyed the attention and the arrangement for such a celebration. Well, at least I have 20+ people celebrating my birthday -- it's much better than none. Though of course it wouldn't be the same as having who I would want to celebrate my birthday with. I'm not too sure of how I would want to celebrate my 18th birthday anyway. The list of who I would wanna celebrate it with is just too long and crazy, with people coming from different JCs and even from poly. Well, I am the egoistic dude, the attention seeker after all. Like, WOW. It would be cool if I could save up enough money to have a celebration at home or something, then I could invite everyone I wanna celebrate my birthday with...

Maybe... just celebrating my birthday with just a few specific people would do, but then again, the list would still hit at least eight. But I'll be most elated if some particular someone actually grants me a wish or ssomething on that day. Just my wishful thinking. Bleah.
