19TH BIRTHDAY!!!
HOW can I possibly almost forgot to blog about my birthday chalet last night!! On the whole, I was quite happy! Had quite a fair share of fun with the different groups of people that appeared at different stages of my life in the past 19 years.
There are ups and there are downs of course. I panicked quite a bit when I started to receive last minute notifications that people cannot come down and stuffs, especially after I bought the food. But I'm glad we managed to finish most of the food with perhaps a few packets of this and that remaining.
Drinking at the end of it all was once again memorable. Ashvin certainly must not drink any alcohol mixed with redbull. But I guess we all had fun, still! Pity, nobody amongst those I invited and attended were nice enough to buy a cake for me... Awww... So in the end I didn't get to make my wishes. I guess it's still not too late to make the wishes now?
*closes eyes and brings his clutched fists together in a form similar to that of in a prayer*
DONE! And yeap, I've made my birthday wishes!!
Oh ya! I forgot, I panicked the most when my Blackberry turned its back on me after I dropped it once on the floor on the first day at the chalet. As a result I was unable to contact anyone on the first day pretty much. But luckily I had my iTouch with me and was able to like make us of the free Wifi and went online on MSN, Facebook and Twitter. The next morning, before my father went home to bring some stuffs over, he lent me his phone for my SIM card so that I can contactable by my friends who were arriving shortly. But during the time while I was waiting for Joseph and Marcus to arrive and keep my company I was practicing my singing in the room and playing the guitar~ So it wasn't too bad!
But I sweat and ran quite a lot yesterday, up and down, to and fro between the gantry, the room and the barbeque pit, picking people up, sending people home and buying things required from cheers and Fairprice. I'm glad Lucas was dependable on getting the fire started and the barbeque up and running. And hence eventually we were able to have something to eat and not go hungry for too long.
Well, I guess that's about it.... Ja-
OH! I'm going Malaysia for Chinese New Year! Sooo... yeap! Buhbye~~ I won't be back for sometime I guess... Perhaps till Tuesday or Wednesday...
