BORING
Undoubtedly "Boring" or "Sian" is one of my favourite words. Dayumn! Seriously can't really think of what else to do besides playing DotA 2 when I'm on the computer. But of course I realised that I have neglected the blog. Just simply not as committed as I was like a year or two ago, and far from when I was in Secondary school.
There's really nothing in particular exciting that I wanna mention. Nothing I'm still experiencing that haven't been mentioned before. Movin' on, just not sure how long this will take. Perhaps one thing I can mention in passing is that I'm going outfield this Tuesday again for some battalion exercise. Gonna role play as enemy. Good thing is like there won't be shell scrape, however, there's most likely a need to camo-on. It's gonna be a 2D1N thing, with quite a fair bit of fun I guess, getting to play with the test-set. However, cleaning the rifle after that is likely going to be a pain in the ass. Sucks.
Next up, there's gonna be the Singapore Safra Bay Run next Sunday! Gonna run 5km instead of the previously arranged 10km. Mehhh... Was actually looking forward to running 10km after all the training. But, oh well... Aiming to complete the 5km in under 28min. Which shouldn't be a problem at all. It would be even better if I can complete it in 27min. Just last Friday the brigade went to ECP for our 5km/8km/9km run which was actually quite a memorable one. We actually ran in the heavy rain against the wind blowing in our face, with the raindrops like needles hitting on our skin. But I liked what came after that as there was plenty of soyabean drinks and bananas to go around.
On the other hand, I was quite miserable as I had 12h guard duty starting later that afternoon, which wasted the half-day off that was meant for that afternoon, having to only have a pathetic 2hour book-out before returning to camp to report for duty. But luckily guard duty was quite a smooth one.
So yeah, I'm looking forward to SSBR on Sunday, and am going back to visit the BBSS Choir next Monday because of the day-off in lieu with SSBR on Sunday. Wanted to go back to AJC to take a look at the choir too but they won't be having a practice that day. So, oh well.
